My awesome life after Oprah!

Monday I meet and Hug Oprah..my heart opened up and I was super inspired to see my son open up to Theresa Laurico, I was inspired by all of the speakers in different ways and I can say this week just keeps throwing Awesome back into my lap!

Tuesday evening I met with 3 of my amazing volunteers for Food Revolution Day, their energy and passion and ideas were incredible. The opportunity to match faces with these 3 twitter friends was wonderful and I came home super excited!!  Tuesday was also my puppy’s 1st birthday!

My son will be going to the Rapid Results workshop in Toronto on Saturday morning, on Wednesday he created a video on youtube you can find him on Tumblr as Stokens. He does share a lot of depth in his notes and I would love you to look at his most recent video and see the potential I am seeing in my son!

Thursday was a whirlwind day with getting Megan to a new Osteopath in the morning, meeting at Covent Garden Markets to arrange the details of the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution day on May 19. Speaking with Fanshawe college for them to advertise the event, and getting Megan to a family doctor appointment.

The appointment with osteopath found that megan has an in utero injury that is compressing her brainstem. What this could mean to her overall health is still to be determined but he spent a lot of time manipulating her brain gently yesterday.  He also told me that I need to stop projecting on her which is something I wasn’t truly aware of doing and now will be focussed on stopping myself when I catch that defense strategy from my childhood. I have over cared for her, I need to step back and let her take responsibility.

I then went to a meeting with Covent Garden Market to discuss the Food Revolution day in London Ontario at their facility. I love this market so much, the scents walking into the market are amazing, the vendors all creating a wonderful atmosphere. The Covent Market will be hosting the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution Day and they are making it so easy for me to run this event. They have reduced costs for us to use the facility and they are eager to let us approach vendors in market to challenge them to create a healthy Food revolution day meal that they can start selling on their menu to customers!  They love what I am bringing to London and have even gone a step further offering to provide financial support for some of the expenses of this event!

This is the best news ever to me, I was preparing myself for swallowing the costs associated with the event as an investment in my future as being a Food Ambassador in London. This relieves me of that concern and allows me to focus on making this the best event ever!!

I spoke with Erika at Fanshawe College and discussed doing an lecture that is focussed on Eating Healthy on a budget, and tips for University and College students coming into their first apartments! She is putting our event on the Fanshawe College website and I will certainly make a lecture happen that is targeted to these 2 topics!!

Today has been a calmer day but I do have to tell you that I won another contest. Another one on social media and this time it was from City Line television show in Toronto. They are sending me an autographed copy of the Book of Awesome!! How fitting and awesome is it that I am winning a book of Awesome!!

Keep it coming universe I am wide open and here to make things happen!!
